Qualification and Security
Sorema is certified:

Decree and Regulation OverviewA) Circuits containing Refrigerant Pursuant to Decree No. 98-560 dated December 7th, 1992 modified on June 30th, 1998 and European Regulation No. 2037/2000 dated June 29th, 2000, regulations regarding protecting the ozone layer and greenhouse gases requires that owners of refrigeration facilities ensure proper maintenance of their equipment and have leakage inspections carried out periodically by a competent company. Service provider competence may be verified by its registration with the prefecture where it is domiciled as a society with the human and hardware resources to work on refrigeration equipment. Our registration number is 49.93.0022. Sorema therefore holds a certificate of ability, and all of our technicians have passed the aptitude tests in 2011. Following this inspection, a leak-free certificate is issued. It must be presented to the competent authorities throughout the relevant facility’s service life with a minimum of 3 years.
Each refrigerant leak should be quantified, repaired, and reported to the authorities. This service is also the subject of a leak-free certificate to be retained under the same terms as above.
Developments in refrigerants: since January 1st, 2010, the use of “virgin” HCFC gases (R22...) in a facility is prohibited. Recharging facilities with recycled R22 shall be discontinued on December 31st, 2014. We therefore recommend that you study how to retrofit your refrigeration unit. We can propose alternative solutions suitable for your site.
Open & closed cooling towers fall under heading 2921 for rated facilities according to Decree No. 2004-1331 dated December 1st, 2004 which requires, among other things, a risk analysis, training personnel regarding these hazards, thorough cleaning at least once a year, and periodic Legionella inspections with appropriate treatment as necessary. In addition, since January 1st, 2006, these towers must be inspected by a certified body. Sorema’s technicians are authorized to service water cooling towers.
By extension, any cooling system spraying water in a flow of air must be subject to a specific Legionella inspection.
